KI.NRW is exhibiting at Deutsches Museum Bonn
The museum in Bonn has opened an experience room on the subject of artificial intelligence. Using current application examples on robotics, image recognition, cybercrime, the development of autonomous driving, the ambivalence of voice assistants or “artificial creativity”, artificial intelligence can be experienced as part of “Mission AI – experience. understand. help to shape”. KI.NRW is contributing two exhibits to the exhibition.
In addition to our AI map, which provides a comprehensive overview of the AI landscape in North Rhine-Westphalia, we are also on site with an interactive AI quiz. “KIMBA, the interactive quiz on artificial intelligence – myths and basic knowledge”, provides a playful and at the same time scientifically sound introduction to the topic of AI. At “Basic” or “Expert level” two participants compete against each other while learning exciting facts, uncovering myths and testing their knowledge. Thanks to touch sensors participants are able to select answers with their feet – completely Corona-compliant. Following each question, experts from the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems IAIS and the Rhine-Ruhr Machine Learning Competence Center ML2R give a closer look at their work and research world via video.
With KI:ckstart the museum also offers moderated introductory rounds in small groups to approach what is probably the most influential technology of our time in small steps: What does “artificial intelligence” mean, how intelligent are machines actually and where do we come into contact with this technology? Is AI stealing my job or opening up unimagined economic opportunities for us?
Note: A visit to the exhibition is only possible after registration. For more information, visit the website of Deutsches Museum.
