KI.NRW flagship project CERTIFIED AI hosts symposium

Topic 2024: “Scaling AI Assessments. Tools, Ecosystems & Business Models“

The KI.NRW flagship project CERTIFIED AI is organizing the symposium at the Design Offices Dominium, Cologne from September 30th to October 1st. Abstract registration deadline is on July 22, 2024.

The symposium “Scaling AI Assessments: Tools, Ecosystems & Business Models” will focus on the topic of trustworthy artificial intelligence. Experts from the TIC sector and tech start-ups as well as researchers and scientists, but also legal experts, are invited to jointly discuss the high demand for AI assessments.

The aim of the symposium is to promote marketable AI tests for trustworthy AI. In particular, contributions and presentations from the perspective of operationalization as well as the testing ecosystem and technical tools are welcomed. In addition, the symposium aims to clarify the legal framework of AI, especially with regard to the recently adopted AI Act of the European Union and its operationalization.

Fraunhofer IAIS is leading the consortium of the CERTIFIED AI project with the intention of developing testing principles for AI applications.

Of course, it is also possible to participate in the conference without submitting a paper. Participants can find out about the latest state of research at the symposium and look forward to interesting panels and discussions.
