Followup: The Intelligent Future Days 2020 were a complete success!
During three days knowledge on the topic of AI was exchanged and transferred: The premiere of the IFD united the annual conference of the North Rhine-Westphalian competence platform KI.NRW and the renowned ML conference »LWDA«.
With the slogan »Knowledge creates Economy«, the Intelligent Future Days for the first time combined two events: the »KI-Forum NRW«, the annual conference of the North Rhine-Westphalian competence platform KI.NRW, and the »LWDA«, one of the most important German conferences for machine learning. The three-day online event, organized in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems IAIS, the University of Bonn and the Competence Center Machine Learning Rhine-Ruhr ML2R, invited to exchange and transfer knowledge on the topic of artificial intelligence and brought together more than 200 participants from industry, research and politics. The wide-ranging program of discussions, lectures, success stories and sessions with experienced AI experts dealt intensively with the development and application of AI technologies and offered a high degree of interaction and networking opportunities.
Following the program of the AI Forum NRW, the sessions of the research conference »LWDA« (Learning, Knowledge, Data, Analysis) started. Internationally renowned scientists as well as researchers from NRW were invited to the lectures, discussions, workshops and poster sessions with a focus on machine learning, knowledge discovery, knowledge and database management and information systems. The programs of both events were coordinated so that researchers had the opportunity to take advantage of the AI Forum’s offerings, while economic actors were immersed in the world of AI research.
The lectures, discussions and the Q&A session of the AI Forum NRW can be viewed on a recorded livestream:
