The AI Act at a glance: New KI.NRW info paper on the European AI Regulation
What companies need to know now about the AI Act
Artificial intelligence is impacting more and more areas of life and has enormous economic and social potential. AI-based applications are already helping to save energy and resources, reduce bureaucracy and make diagnoses in medicine – and AI can also be used in very sensitive areas. It is therefore important to establish guidelines for the use of AI systems. The European Union therefore adopted the European AI Regulation, the AI Act, in 2024. Business players are recommended to familiarise themselves with this regulation as soon as possible. The newly published information paper from KI.NRW provides initial guidance.
